Sampled from custom-made 13. 5 inch hihat cymbals created by master cymbal smith mike skiba. The top cymbal weighs in at 1145 grams with the bottom weighing 1215 grams. This is a stick tap on the bow of the closed cymbals using the tip of the stick.

Sampled from a 20 inch k. Zildjian istanbul ride from the 1950s, and subsequently modified by master cymbal smith mike skiba for a final weight of 2220 grams. Recorded with stereo pm mics. This is a hard stick tip hit on the bell or cup of the cymbal.

This is a classic hip-hop sound made by playing a snare forwards then backwards, with a hi-hat from the same sample played the same way for added effect. Drum sounds are from an old-school soul sounding drum break i found on soulseek. I created this in ableton.

A diesel flatbed tow truck idles for two minutes, moves the truck into position,backup warning beeps, moves the car back, adjusts the position of the truck once more, extends the rollback tilt-tray, connects the car, winches the car up, retracts the rollback tilt-tray, secures chains to the car, then drives off. This series is about transition sfx, this is stacked sound effects made with xsynth,dex and amsynth, randomized in carla and layered with cymbal samples i recorded a long time ago.
